The Management Study Program Student Association (HIMA Prodi) at Gajayana University Malang officially inaugurated its new management in an event held on Wednesday, June 4 2025, at the Hall of the Faculty of Information Technology (FTI) at Gajayana University Malang.
This activity carries the theme "Lead, Manage, Inspire: It's time for management to move more meaningfully", as a form of the spirit of renewal and leadership that focuses more on values, strategy and social impact.
The chief organizer of the activity, Muhammad Ferdiansyah, explained that the theme carried a strong message for organizational leaders. "Lead means leading by example and clear direction, Manage is not just managing, but managing with empathy and strategy, and Inspire is about mobilizing other people to make meaningful contributions," he explained. He added that overall, the theme invites new administrators to become leaders who are wise, strategic, and able to bring positive change to the organization and campus life.
This event was attended by HIMA Management administrators, the implementing committee, as well as representatives from various UKM and HMJ. Campus leaders were also present, including the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, the Head of the Management Study Program, the HIMA Advisor, and the Student President of Gajayana University Malang.
Apart from the inauguration procession, the event was also an opportunity for friendship between organizations and strengthening commitment in carrying out future work programs. The chief executive hopes that the newly appointed administrators will be able to be more active in carrying out their roles and be able to embrace all members, including incoming new students.
"In the future, we hope that the newly appointed administrators can be trustworthy and carry out their roles and duties well," he explained in the final session of the interview.
